This session of Iberian Connections features Professor Yonsoo Kim, of Purdue University, the foremost specialist in the works and life of Teresa de Cartagena, and other women writers. Professor Kim has introduced her presentation in the article written for this session, and suggested a list of readings to prepare for the presentation and debate. The works of Teresa de Cartagena, both in manuscript and in modern editions, have been likewise put at the disposition of those interested in following this session.
Holly Kashin Brown will also show some elements of her digital humanities project on women writers, with particular attention to Teresa de Cartagena. She has presented her project in an article for Iberian Connections.
Yale University graduate student Nils Longueira Borrego has been generous enough to moderate the session and serve as a respondent.
