Alexander Peña, a doctoral student of Medieval Studies at Yale, interviewed Professor Nuria de Castilla about her work on Arabic and Aljamiado literatures, and, in particular about her work with the morisco Qur’an and its characteristics. Peña and de Castilla addressed not only questions regarding the past, but also more contemporary subjects including islamophobia and other forms of exclusion based on the practice of religion.
