Esteban Crespo Jaramillo

Esteban Crespo-Jaramillo is a third year graduate student in the combined Renaissance Studies and Spanish & Portuguese PhD program at Yale University. He received his licenciatura from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, where he wrote about Ignatian mysticism and William James’s psychology. At Yale, his research interests center broadly on the links between Early Modern Spanish literature and other European literary traditions, the history of the book, and masculinities. Esteban’s most recent scholarly articles have appeared or are forthcoming in Cuadernos hispanoamericanos and Revista de Hispanismo Filosófico.
